About Us

The Decatur Umpires Association is a group who enjoy the game of softball. The majority of our members focus on officiating the slow-pitch game, but several of our members are involved with the fast-pitch game.

We are dedicated to the idea of fair-play and know that we are facilitators of the game. It is our hope that the example of sportsmanship can be seen through us and our efforts on the softball field.

We strive to stay up-to-date on rules and techniques that will make the officiating of one of our favorite sports even more enjoyable for everyone involved.
